Are you a DDoS specialist?

We know, we know, the best answer to that is usually “Talk to my lawyer.” But we live in interesting times (well, that’s one word for them) and thus, the IT Army of Ukraine is currently seeking a DDoS specialist to lead their cyber-attacks on Russian targets and Russian-supporting targets like international corporations and various former Soviet Republics who just find freedom is way too much work.

But there, I’m editorializing. You came here for the job posting: note that it’s unpaid, although should you do a good job, Ukraine wins, I guarantee you that you will have free perogies for life, and what’s better than that? Nothing, that’s what.

Вітаємо! Якщо ти маєш навички та хочеш допомогти своїй країні, то долучайся до команди IT Army.

Наразі ми потребуємо наступних спеціалістів:

Фахівець з DDoS – потрібно проводити аналіз цілей на вразливості та вносити конфігурації для атакуючого софту.

Досвід: Потрібні знання мережевих архітектур, розуміння тонкощів високорівневих протоколів (прикладні як HTTP, так і транспортні як TLS), досвід роботи з лоад балансерами, в ідеалі досвід роботи з системами протидії DDoS, принаймні базове розуміння питань безпеки.

We are currently looking for the following professionals:

DDoS Specialist – You need to analyze the vulnerability targets and configure the attacking software.

Experience: Knowledge of network architecture is required, understanding of the intricacies of high-level protocols (both HTTP and transport in the form of TLS applications), experience with load balancers, ideally experience with DDoS, at least a basic understanding of security issues.

The work is entirely on a volunteer basis and requires a lot of free time. Now we are gathering a team for a permanent fund that can and will do this systematically. So if you understand this and you have a lot of free time – leave an application (https://itarmy.com.ua/vacancies/).
