Kittens, have we got a story for you today. Sharpen your claws, justice needs justicein’.

The woman pictured was observed on October 24th browsing in a Langley (exurban Vancouver) Value Village thrift shop with a kitten in her arms. Since the shop has a “no pets” policy, she was asked to leave, and did. Then she boarded the bus with the kitten; it’s worth noting that loose kittens are not allowed on the bus either. And while she does appear to be keeping a lookout for potential pursuit, she was anything but stealthy when getting on the bus.

A bigger problem is that it appears to have been someone else’s kitten.

Langley RCMP are interested in the whereabouts and identity of this woman because another shopper at the store at the same time had a kennel with three kittens in it. I say had, because she turned her back on it to shop and when she went back there were only two.

Now, we all know that there’s nothing the Internet loves so much as cats. Once #OpKidnappedKitteh gets started, there’s no telling where it may end up.

So let’s just head this off at the pass. Langley RCMP, I got your back on this one. Case closed.
