Comcast weakens consumer security by injecting ads through its public hotspots

Starbucks tried something similar in Vancouver, but it didn’t last long. You’re already IN the store, you’ve already BOUGHT the drink. Getting hammered with third-party ads as a condition of remaining in the store to check messages was just too much and it was abandoned after a few months. But hey, reduce security so you can push me some more spam? Sure.
