Afghan forces who reported being under Taliban fire requested the U.S. airstrike that killed 22 people at a medical clinic in northern Afghanistan, U.S. forces, Gen. John F. Campbell said.

I somehow doubt they requested that the US bomb a Doctors Without Borders hospital, killing 22 people and causing Doctors Without Borders to withdraw from Afghanistan entirely as a result.
